Mobile Tanning Firm Puts Down Roots

When Nikki Medina graduated in 2009 with a business management degree from Manhattanville College, the Great Recession made it difficult to find a job.
But her $80,000 student loan bill meant she needed to find a way to obtain an income -- and fast.
At the time, the Fairfield resident had three years under her belt working for a tanning salon. So Medina decided to continue in the spray tan industry, but went off on her own.
